What I've done in 2009

Now it's the pictures' turn... :)))

I've started to knit:

These are my patchwork pieces finished or unfinished:

This is when I stitch and sew...

My finished and UFO's in stitching:

And last but not least my framed pictures, most of them are now hanging on the wall. :)

The first piece in 2010

This is my first stitched piece in 2010, the second plant of our Round Robin, the bergamot for Dóra.

LHN Traveling Stitcher (2)

So I'm ready with this nice piece from LHN and I really enjoyed stitching it. The needle-book is also ready, but unfortunately I haven't got a picture with me, so those who read me have to be patient for some more days.

Fabric: 32 ct Terracotta from Nina
Threads: Crescent Colours

I'm not sure about the outcome of this project, but somehow it will be a nice purse to travel with.

LHN Traveling Stitcher (1)

I have a brand new stitching, this time it is from LHN and we stitch together with Dóri in a SAL. For the time being it seems like that I managed to catch up with her as she was making something else in the meantime. :)

So here is the first snapshot from my new one, I love to stitch it anyway...

Christmas Elf Fairy framed

Last night I've made a picture of my brand new framed fairy, who is now hanging on the wall of our living room. Lovely, isn't she? :)

The fairy...

... and the frame.

What flower are You?

I am a
Petunia

You are a tried and trusted friend who will be there for your friends when they need you. But you have a tendency to be nervous about doing things that go against the norm.

Christmas Elf Fairy is ready

I'm ready with her and she's now at the framer's shop! :)))

I've made beading with a frame for the first time, but it was much more easier and the result is really-really beautiful. So it worths investing a bit more energy in it. I simply love my new fairy! Tralala, tralala... :D

Christmas Elf Fairy (2)

I love to stitch my fairy and thought it was good to make a series of her growing. In a couple of days she'll have face I guess. :))

Angel Swap gifts arrived

Hurray, my gifts from my secret angel arrived this week and today I had time to pick it up in the post office. I think that pictures will a tell a lot more now then words...

All the beauties together:

Dawn, thank you very much for your gifts, I love them all!!! I could hardly find my words when I looked into the parcel, I'm so happy! :)))))

Christmas Elf Fairy (1)

Here's the first sketch of my Xmas Fairy, and I love her really-really much! The colours, the fabric, the threads and the fairy itself, she is so geourgeous...

Now you can only see her dress in progress, but I do wish to see her hanging on the wall by Christmas this year. :)

My latest patchwork projects

I've started a new class with the patchwork mates, so I have a lot of techniques in my pocket and it comes a lot more!

Here is the latest one, this is the leaves chart and it is to be finished once upon a time... it will be a banner at my workplace.

This is a scissors keeper for my big ones and it's made with the chenille technique.

A bag for my pair of shoes for belly dancing, it is decorated with a piece of grandma's flower garden and a yoyo with a button in the middle.

And last but not least, a toilet bag with seminol technique I use for my knitting or stitching when travelling.

The Seasons Chart - ready

I think it's a really lovely chart, and it was joyable to stich. Now that it's ready can go to the frame shop and under the christmas tree.

Traveling Woman shawl (1)

I've started a new shawl with my new Rico baby yarn and it's so soft that I must love it. :-) What's more, it's a great pattern and I couldn't stop until I was out of yarn. Now I'm looking for some supplement and hope to be successful by the end of the week.

Here it is, after the setup chart and A chart:

My first needleworkbag

Here is my latest project, that combines cross stitching and sewing my beloved hobbies. There's a tutorial on my Hungarian blog, I'm sorry it's only in Hungarian... but there are a lot of pictures and you have the chance to get it translated. So, if you like it, just go ahead! :-)

Tree Trimmers

They are ready, I'm going to bring them to get framed in the coming weeks.

Raindrop shawl (2)

Just a snapshot of my first shawl, I'm sure it won't be perfect as I always miscount something on it... but you can see some drops now:

For my father in law

My father in law was 60 years old last week and we made a small party for him with the whole family together. We were thinking of the perfect gift for him, but did not succeed, in the end we voted for a self-made photobook and photos of the party.

For the tutorial many thanks to Zsófi, it was much more easier to prepare and make it. I've combined the stitching with some patchwork and it was a great idea according to the issue.

Here is the work itself:

My first RR is ready to post

At least I'm ready with the frame before the first sending date. It was very good to stitch, but I was a bit frustrated about the deadline, but it's ready so I won't have anything to do with it what stitching concerns, when I get it back after one and a half years. I'm so excited...

Now, I'm wating for Dóri's cloth to begin with some red stitches after a lot of blues. :-)

Petal Fairy (4)

I've made some stitches in my Fairy during the way home from the Alps, where we spent almost a week. It was soo lovely, I wish it never ended...

But back to stitching, the more is ready on it, the more I love her. :-)
